- 19 React Calmly.Dir.sit 2 B AMUG BBS in a Box 01-14-1990
- DESC: MM Director movie. Another "Clip Point for Presentations" from
- KEY: React Calmly.Dir.sit KBytes: 9216
- DESC: Kanode Associates. This one illustrates the point: React Calmly to
- DESC: difficult customers.

- 18 Rosarium1.41.sit 0 B AMUG BBS in a Box 12-23-1992
- DESC: Rosarium1.41 - ROSARIUM (From the author of MUSEUM) I'll be honest,
- KEY: Rosarium1.41.sit KBytes: 66560
- DESC: ROSARIUM doesn't do much. When I gave it to a friend at work I
- DESC: described it as 'NothingWare'. With that said, I must tell you that
- DESC: within one week it was on every Mac in the building.
- 15 Slideshow II.sit 0 B AMUG BBS in a Box 11-05-1993
- DESC: Slideshow II - This is a slim little utility that cycles through
- KEY: Slideshow II.sit KBytes: 12288
- DESC: paint docs in a selected folder. It has some special effects. I am
- DESC: posting this for those of you who may have lost the use of
- DESC: SlideShow, or Carosel (two older paint showers) when new systems
- DESC: and hardware forced them out. This one works on the mid-range Macs,
- DESC: but NOT on the LCII. It is untested on the Quadra family. I am also
- DESC: posting it in hopes that a programmer out there will notice it and
- DESC: develop everyone a shareware utility for cycling COLOR PICT files -
- DESC: without the need for an FPU - in slideshow, screen saver fashion.

- 14 Sparkle 1.71.sit 0 B AMUG BBS in a Box 02-01-1994
- DESC: Sparkle 1.71 - Sparkle plays MPEGs and converts them to QuickTime
- KEY: Sparkle 1.71.sit KBytes: 142336
- DESC: movies. It uses the standard QuickTime movie controller as its
- DESC: interface. Version 1.0 of this code was based on the Berkeley MPEG
- DESC: unix code. It was released as soon as it was usable. This version
- DESC: has had most of the Berkeley code rewritten for greater speed,
- DESC: smaller memory footprint, and more flexibility. Features - Standard
- DESC: mac interface with menus and windows. Uses the QuickTime movie
- DESC: controller to control the MPEG viewing. MultiFinder friendly, with
- DESC: good backgrounding behavior. Saves MPEGs to QuickTime movies. Can
- DESC: open multiple files at once. Requires System 7 and QuickTime and an
- 13 SpeechLessForm.sit 2 B AMUG BBS in a Box 01-14-1990
- DESC: This is a MacroMind Director movie which illustrates a technique for
- KEY: SpeechLessForm.sit KBytes: 30720
- DESC: teaching someone to fill out a form. (In this case it is a simple
- DESC: ledger card.) For best quality, Adobe Type Manager and the ATM
- DESC: Helvetica and Courier fonts should be installed. The first time the
- DESC: movie is played it is VERY VERY SLOW (15 minutes on a Mac+) but if a
- DESC: 756K ATM cache WAS specified the movie will play at a reasonable
- DESC: speed on subsquent plays. Much better results are obtained if the
- DESC: movie is accelerated using MacroMind Accelerator.

- 12 StoryBoard.sit 0 B AMUG BBS in a Box 06-15-1992

- 10 Titles.Dir.sit 2 B AMUG BBS in a Box 01-14-1990
- DESC: MM director movies. Three simple animated titles which can be

- DESC: network promos.

- 9 U of M.sit 0 B AMUG BBS in a Box 06-09-1992
- DESC: U of M - An animated introduction to an upcoming film for the
- KEY: U of M.sit KBytes: 133120
- DESC: University of Montana's Centennial celebration. I did this using MM
- DESC: Director, Swivel 3-D and Photoshop. You'll need 8-bit color and a
- DESC: "pretty fast" Mac to view at the ideal playback rate (I used a IIci
- DESC: w/cache to produce). This is a self-playing Quickpics file when
- DESC: extracted....just double-click. Thought some might like to see what
- DESC: can be accoCone with these programs.
- 7 VideoMaker 1.0.sit 0 B AMUG BBS in a Box 12-23-1992
- DESC: VideoMaker 1.0 - VideoMaker 1.0 is a stack that creates a storyboard
- KEY: VideoMaker 1.0.sit KBytes: 21504
- DESC: for planning a video. It is also a good way to write a script,
- DESC: while constructing the video plan. It generates 2 column scripts.
- DESC: It also can assemble and print scripts to be exported to your word
- DESC: processor or other applications. Print the stack for a complete
- DESC: hard copy of your video in storyboard.

- 5 Visions 1.0.2.sit 0 B AMUG BBS in a Box 02-07-1994
- DESC: Visions 1.0.2 - Visions is an application that opens graphic and
- KEY: Visions 1.0.2.sit KBytes: 311296
- DESC: animation files, displays them in a window or in full-screen slide
- DESC: show mode, and puts a miniature of the image in the icon Finder of
- DESC: the document. Visions can automatically perform these operations on
- DESC: group of files from the Finder, by draging file, folder or disk
- DESC: icons on Visions application icon.

- 3 WACO STANDOFF.sit 0 B AMUG BBS in a Box 03-26-1993
- DESC: WACO STANDOFF - This is quick virtual reality model of the Davidian
- KEY: WACO STANDOFF.sit KBytes: 171008
- DESC: complex currently under seige by federal authorities in Waco Texas.
- DESC: It is a stand alone application and requires no other software. The
- DESC: user may travel anywhere they want in the model. There are only
- DESC: windows on the north side of the complex. I have not seen the other
- DESC: sides on CNN on in the paper.
